Always Dirty, Never Clean is my favorite song because the vocals, lyrics, and music are killer. This is the perfect theme song for any artist/band in the music business. Let The Games Begin has to be my second favorite song. The lyrics and instruments come together so well. It's tight. Where The Wild Things Are (Monsters) is my favorite song lyrically. I love the line, “You're the smoke in the air making everyone choke.” Wow. I like the harmonies in this track too. You And I is the song where everyone wants the lyrics to reflect their real life. The emotion is definitely felt in this song. I can definitely see this being played on the radio like crazy. It sounds like a summer hit. Passion For Publication is a funny song in a good way. The lyrics are clever, the music is fly, and the lead singer, Slade does his thing. The title of the song especially really makes it funny when you think about it. If tabloids had their own theme song, this would be it. The Brightest Green is another great song. Slade really brings it. Everyone can relate to this song, I am sure of it. The music video for this song is pretty decent too. Halfway Sober is a good song although I think it has to grow on me more. The idea of the song was great but something about the execution… or maybe like I said, it just has to grow on me.

There is no doubt that all of the songs are catchy, so the band has got that going for them right off the bat. All of the songs also sound very raw. When I say that I mean that if I were to hear them live, I know I would be hearing what is on the EP and they would be good. The worst thing to hear is an album that has been toyed with so much that the artist/band does not sound anything like the album live. So kudos to the band for the way they recorded the EP. Now while this EP is a great listen, I can see that there really is so much more room for creativity. So I cannot wait to see what the band comes out with next. I can’t forget to mention that this band is pretty good looking too!
