Hydrovibe Has Nothing Left To Lose

The Los Angeles based rock band Hydrovibe will release their debut album "Nothing Left To Lose" this Tuesday, September 29, 2009. The album’s first single “Fame” is mixed by Kevin Churko, who recently received a Juno Award for his work on Ozzy Osbourne’s latest album “Black Rain.” You may have heard the band's music on the Saw III movie soundtrack or seen the music video for “Killer Inside” with Saw actress Shawnee Smith appearing as a guest vocalist.

The band’s Louisiana natives, vocalist Heather St. Marie and guitarist / vocalist Mat Dauzat joined forces early on and have performed with musicians Schuyler Fisk and Joshua Radin. Eliot Lorango is on bass and Philippe Mathys is on drums, and together, Hydrovibe has Nothing Left To Lose.



Nothing Left To Lose has 15 incredibly well written tracks that you will love. The songwriting is superb and if you are into mainstream rock and roll music, this is the album for you. The band is led by vocalist, Heather St. Marie who does not scream as much as I would have expected for a rock and roll album. That's a good thing. This is not your typical rock and roll band. The lyrics are so honest and have heavy meaning behind them and the emotions are portrayed so well through Heather St. Marie. The order of the tracks is also interesting as there is so much covered in each track! Each track has its own unique meaning. The album starts out with the song, "Fifteen Minutes" discussing fame and ends with the track, "Liberation" with few lyrics but fitting for closure of the album. While this is not the typical music I listen to, the lyrics will captivate you.
