The highly anticipated three night event for Syfy’s Ascension begins TONIGHT and I am so excited!

In 1963, the U.S. government launched a covert space mission sending hundreds of men, women and children on a century-long voyage aboard the starship Ascension to populate a new world. Nearly 50 years into the journey, as they approach the point of no return, a mysterious murder of a young woman causes the ship’s population to question the true nature of their mission. Ascension is created, written, and executive produced by Philip Levens (Smallville)

I am so excited for Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), Brian Van Holt (Cougar Town), and Andrea Roth (if you’ve been reading this blog for a long time, you know how much I LOVE Rescue Me) to grace the small screen on my favorite network for six hours this week! Of Syfy’s mini-series events, Tin Man will always hold a special place in my heart but I have a feeling Ascension is going to blow everything Syfy has done so far out of the water. I am so excited!
